I'm very excited about the Museum for African Art joining the museum mile in NYC this coming fall. In existence since 1984, the museum has had several residences including spaces in the Upper West Side, SoHo and finally Long Island City, Queens. Closed temporarily in efforts to pursue expanding opportunities, the museum will finally have a place among the widely popular museum mile on the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 110th Street.
