Fall 2011 Museum for African Art on the Museum Mile

I'm very excited about the Museum for African Art joining the museum mile in NYC this coming fall. In existence since 1984, the museum has had several residences including spaces in the Upper West Side, SoHo and finally Long Island City, Queens. Closed temporarily in efforts to pursue expanding opportunities, the museum will finally have a place among the widely popular museum mile on the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 110th Street. Dusting this Off

Talk about a hiatus. I've neglected my poor blog with the sorry excuse of disliking writing. From my last post I have learned and re-learned that many of my favorite writers of all kinds (bloggers, authors, journalists etc) find writing to be as much a chore as I do; yet one necessary to practice for any hope of improvement. Thus, here I am! Last thing before I go: if I come off as an art-loving Pan-Africanist hippie, excellent. :)
